Checkout Periods
No matter where you live, we’ll help you find the books and articles you need for your research and education. Books, dissertations, theses, audio, and video materials may be checked out for a four week period. All items may be renewed once unless someone else has requested the item. There is a limit of 30 items checked out at one time. Journals and reference books may NOT be checked out and are for use in the library only.
Course Reserves
The Sofia University Library provides strong support for all courses offered. One copy of all required texts for all on-campus courses is to be used within the library only for a 3 hour period. We also frequently purchase e-textbooks for course reserve to be used by our distance students.
